The Folder Project
The CPMRC has just received it’s edition of The Folder / Double Unfolding artist book with prints from the thirteen participating international research centers and print media departments. The prints will be on view at the University of California Santa Cruz Baskins Visual Arts Center from June 5 – 14, 2017. Barbara Foster at Contemporary Printmedia Research Center
Barbara Foster will be working on her new print projects at the center from April 17 through May 26, 2017.
Within an archeological context, she bridges environmental and ecological issues using a personal approach combining traditional and non-traditional processes. During her residency, she will be exploring the UCSC Natural Reserves and working with UCSC students.

CAAC heritage resources to be exhibited at UCSC’s Sesnon Gallery
UCSC Arts Division Assistant Professor Enrique Leal and Sesnon Gallery Director Shelby Graham met with the University of Castilla La Mancha’s Contemporary Arts Archives & Collections research team this summer to initiate a interuniversity collaborative project that includes curating a selection of the CAAC heritage resources to be exhibited at UCSC’s Sesnon Gallery.
